Dylan Barrier attended San Tan Foothills High School from 2014 to 2018, where he played outfield for the Varsity Baseball team. In his senior season, the Sabercats advanced to the 2A state championship, finishing as runners-up.

In the summer of 2019, one year after graduating, Dylan was involved in a skateboarding accident while returning home from a graduation party. He suffered a traumatic brain injury and was taken to Chandler Medical Center, where he later passed away.

Months earlier, Dylan had registered as an organ donor at a school event hosted by Donate Life — a decision he made largely on a whim, drawn in by the offer of a free T-shirt. That small choice carried far greater weight than he could have known: through it, Dylan's organs went on to save and improve the lives of multiple recipients.

The Show Goes On Tournament was established to honor both Dylan's memory and the generosity of his decision. Each year, the tournament partners with Donate Life to help raise awareness about organ donation and encourage others to consider registering as donors themselves.

Proceeds from the tournament fund scholarships awarded annually to graduating senior athletes at San Tan Foothills, and the program has also extended scholarships to athletes from visiting schools.

None of this would be possible without the continued generosity of our volunteers, donors, and participating teams. On behalf of the San Tan Foothills Baseball Booster Club, thank you for helping keep Dylan's legacy alive.
